Comments:

Conditions seemed pretty good this year, but the thunderstorms kept some
operators off the air.  There was a lot more Es skip than during the June
contest, usually it's the other way around.  No doubt I missed some openings
beacuse I couldn't make this a full time effort this year but I'm happy with my
score.

I ran about 400 watts out on 2 and 500 on 6, less power than in previous years. 
I was trying the amps out on 110VAC and didn't reconfigure them for 220VAC for
the contest.  I finally got my low six meter yagis (7 el at 30' & 60') working
properly so I gave them a workout.  It was interesting comparing them to the
higher 6 meter yagi on the tall tower, usually the low yagis had stronger
signals.
