Interesting to see the variations in conditions throughout the world. Here in my
part of sunny Spain we had short openings both saturday and sunday morning to
the east, managing to work VK and VR2 and a host of asiatic russians. The rest
of the time, tooth pulling.... conditions to SA were OK but very few stations.
Or is it that only the big guns were getting through? Sunday afternoon the band
drifted up to the caribbean for a few moments, I even heard AA4V work 5U7JB but
it was to be a fleeting moment. Perseverance prize goes to Dani 6W1EA, 59 all
day both days in Spain but pulling teeth just like me!
Provisional station at my summer house, FT897, ameritron ALS 500, Mosley TA53M
Thanks to all who took the time to pull me out of the noise.
