Thanks for all the contacts! We were pleased at how many stations
could be worked during the openings. We made more contacts than last
year, but had fewer multipliers and lower points (less CW). The hours
around noon had fantastic runs of US stations. Then the US would fade
away, and we'd start desparately spinning the beams looking for any
DX, or anyone at all! Here on the west coast, we managed to work 19
Asia/Pacific contacts, ONE European (CU2JT), and ONE African (S9SS).
A big THANK YOU to the DX for listening for us, so far away. We had
plenty of time to just tune the band and spot people.
