Our 2nd highest score for the CQWW CW contest. Much better conditions than
this yearâ??s SSB. Some interesting over the pole propagation, in particular
on 40 meters during broad daylight. And we saw little of the black hole one-way
propagation that plagued the SSB portion. No huge numbers from EU othewise,
mostly northern Europe and equatorial stations were prevalent, but some
reasonable JA numbers kept the score fairly high for a west coast contest
station. Managed a few long and short path mults to EU and Africa on 40 and 80
to keep things respectable. Not much EU on 15M so low mults on that band. 10M
was a wash.
