Comments:

20 opened well into the SE, with N3DXX, and K3STX furthest N heard. No usual
loud BGL RE CK W9s at all ! Thanks again to locals, LOX OM and RI, was able to
maintain a good rate with KZ5D K5NZ and the TN boys peppered in. 40 was jammed
when got there at :45 and hard to get thru w/ the sloper. The 6s & 7s were
workable, but all the SE and Midwest were heard working each other...and felt
lucky to get thru at all... best luck was way up at 044 and 045 or down at 037
038... in the middle it was swarming. Left with 2 minutes for 80 and found WHY
and RV close in, plus local boys in Seattle area. No CA.. will have to spend
more time on 80 in the future and leave 20 earlier. Big surprise was signal
from Ted W4NZ's driveway w/ his mobile! ON 40! (Never worked/heard include W0BH
W9RE N4AF N2IC KN5H N5DX..amazing!). SSB sprint coming up coincides w/ our
annual WA SALMON RUN, so you can count Qs for both contests if you ask us for
County (KING) during the phone sprint. Hope all have a great weekend holiday...
see ya in the next one. de K7SS Danwa (Steppir 3el, Pro2, Sloper)
