Operated from halfway up a hillside in the magnificent but very radio-unfriendly
Somiedo valley where the signal only gets out in one direction: North. Used my
trusy battery-powered MFJ rig and an end fed halfwave sloping off a fishing rod
propped up in a hawthorn tree (ouch!)
With 10 QSOs I will probably bring up the rear in the points division, but boy
did I have a great time!
