My first ARRL in CW and great fun.
Operated from my home QTH in Valencia: IC765, 5w, Optibeam OB6-3M (2 el on 15m)
at 27m. Part time operation due to other commitments. My first CW contest was
CQWW last year so I am pretty pleased with my score in spite of it being
objectively pretty poor :)
Interesting to see how some weak stations were able to pick me up first call
yet others were 20 over and CQing in my face (VE3MMQ most notably). Real shame
I couldn't reach W7AT who was CQing fit to bust but my puny signal just didn't
make it....
