Comments:

K3, 66-ft end-fed wire in a tree, 20 ft AGL.

Just like last year, my puny station and the FQP were not a good match. I think
factors are 1) bad month; 2) bad time periods (not enough 40 Meter time, no 80
meters allowed); 3) division of activity between CW and SSB (and digital, for
all I know). My score was down from last year and I worked 11 fewer counties.

I think conditions were worse this year than last. 20 Meters was so bad I could
find only a handful of mobiles. 15 Meters opened a little on Sunday but I didn't
hear a single mobile there.

There may be a lot of hams in Florida but you wouldn't have guessed it this
weekend, at least not on CW. Maybe going to a one-day format would help
concentrate activity. Of course, maybe condx were just horrible, and nothing
anybody can do about that.
