Comments:

Very good to be back after too many weeks away. I think I operated at something
closer to a jog than a sprint tonight. I have a new computer in the shack and
was running N1MM for the first time in over a year; I didn't have any problem
at all falling back into the swing of all things N1MM, except that it took me
about 30 minutes to figure out how to make the second radio (a TS-940S) drop
out of transmit when the sending finished. I also discovered that the 80M
inverted L has a loose connection--the arc in my tuner the first time I worked
NO3M on 160M made for one of my more exciting sprint moments. However, the K3 &
AT2K both survived, and onward I went. Very nice signals from N6ZFO & N6RO on
80M. All in all, I have no idea what I would do without my half-sized K9AY
loop. On a night like tonight where the local noise was high (which is most
nights here) and stations were tending toward the weaker side, it would have
been a long hour without it.

Congrats to those with the big QSO totals (really great to see some triple
digits), and happy holidays to all!

73,

Joe
