Comments:

Conditions here were rather poor this weekend. Score was about one half of last
year's score. The European openings were short and signals overall were quite
weak. The midnight polar openings were short and signals had auroral flutter
the first night. The second night signals were crisper but the opening lasted
only about 1 hour. With the flux in the 125 range I had hoped for longer
sustained openings. We were probably still seeing the effects of the CME
disturbance at this northern location.
Equipment was a Icom ProIII and Alpha 77 Amp. Antennas were a 5/5/5/5 stack on
a 200 ft tower and a 5/5/5 stack on a 160 ft tower.
As always Don was a great host. We will see how SSB turns out in a couple of
weeks.
