Comments:
Like probably everybody else we monitored the propagation after the solar flare
of last week.
Unfortunately it was not meant to be. Saturday was okay but Sunday the
propagation was disappointing, especially on 10 and 15m.
Compared to last year we are down by 748 q's, 4 mults and a bit more than 500k
points.
We saw some improvements on 160m (+39 q's and +13 mults), 80m (+91 q's and +5
mults)and 10m (+2 q's and mults). But the downside is the decline on 40m(-257
q's and -9 mults), 20m (-37 q's but +1 mults) and 15m (-586 q's and -16
mults).
But all in all it's always a lot of fun because we had some pretty nice runs.
Next appointment is the UBA cw contest of this coming weekend (26 Feb 2011 from
13.00 UTC till 27 Feb 2011 13.00 UTC). After this one we are looking forward to
the ARRL SSB and WPX SSB.
