Hello All,
Had lots of fun in this years contest, despite the band conditions which were
not all that great to say the least. Worked a bunch of stations up and down the
East coast in the early evening hours Friday and Saturday. This of course was
not easy mind you, with S-9 noise level pretty much the whole contest. Heard a
fellow in Morocco on Friday night, but was unable to work him. I did however
get lucky and worked Belize with one call. Both nights there were some openings
into the Midwest and West Coast, a couple sporadic Caribbean openings, plus EU
after midnight. It was really cool to hear all those EU stations, despite only
being able to work one of them, which was Moldavia. Worked NJ4F Sunday but
heard no other club stations.
