Only N4PN @ W8JI was above my S9 urban noise at Sunday sunrise. I never played
more with RX RF gain, AGC off, NB on and DSP settings trying to hear weak ones
in the splattered band. My traped dipole was resonant at 1850 kHz with sharp
SWR rise detuning homebrew 1 kW PEP QRO. I entered CQ WW SSB instead of 160 m
contest so my score is roughly estimated. Dull it isn't!
