Comments:
Three distinct M/S operations shared the W6YX shack and antenna farm: W6YX,
N6DB, and ND2T. Our goal was to maximize the score generated from the site. So
we switched bands just about once an hour. This means that 1/3 the time you are
on the best band, 1/3 the time you are on the second-best band, and 1/3 the time
you are on the third-best band. It worked out fine. The hours melted away. We
all had a lot of fun; nothing broke.
ND2T gentled a 1982 Alpha along at ~700 watts, which was plenty for our
purposes. Our three ops handily out-Qd and out-multed our 2012 effort. Our best
hours were 19z on 10m, 05z on 80m, and 19z Sunday on 15m.
