Comments:
My goal was to better my previous score from the winter NAQP SSB and I did. My
first contact was Hawaii on 15 meters - Hot Dang this is going to be good!
Then, the gates of California opened up. Contacts were many, however the
states were not going up. I tried running on 15 meters, however contacts were
slower than s&p, because the band was going. Most contacts was on 20
meters, however the most multipliers was on 40 meters. I did go down in
frequency and worked a few on 160 meters. At around 11:00PM, I decided to
quit. My wife, K (N4KCB), said, "Why? You have a few more hours."
My reply was I was tired and to stay to the end would make this punishment
rather than fun.
I like the exchange of the name for the contest, it makes an exchange sound
like you are meeting a new or old friend. Had fun.
