Comments:

We had a great time. The original plan was to have dedicated teams for each band
but with a couple ops that couldn't make it this year, we had to stretch our
resources to cover the bands as well as possible. 160 was covered by K0RF and
KV0Q. 80 was also KV0Q and K0RF. 40 was mainly K7NV with second radio help from
KV0Q and others. 20 was operated to our first over-2000-QSO-level score by W0UA
and W0ZP. 15 almost made the 2000-QSO level too with W2UP and W1XE at the rigs.
10 was operated by KO7X with KV0Q and W1XE providing second radio help.

Murphy was with us from the start with most appearances on ten meters. (Amp,
computer and rotators all failed during the contest, but we managed to keep on
the air most of the time with technical help from W1XE and our aspiring ham,
Logan who climbed in the wind to point the top 15 in our three-stack on 15M. As
in the past, AA0RS provided help before the contest to get all the radios
working.

Food was served up by yours truly and K7NV. We all ate too much but it was
really tasty.

We are very pleased with the effort since it was our best to date. Thanks to
all the crew and all the operators, world wide for making this fantastic
contest possible. I am blessed to be doing it for over 50 years with a great
group of friends.

73 and see you in the next one,

Chuck
