K3CCR is the club station at the Collington retirement community
in FM 18OW. For the Jan. 2015 NAQP CW, available ops were N3UM and
K3DI. W3GB (usually an SSB op) also made a few QSOs to try CW
contesting. All of us had other things to do, but together we put
in nearly 17 operator-hours, in the multi-two category. Activity
and propagation were good. Our best rates and QSO totals were on
20, 40, and 80 meters. On 15 and 10 meters we mostly found mults.
We intended to try 160 m., but never got there because rates were
very good on 80 m. until we quit. It was fun: we'll be back for
Jan. NAQP SSB in a few days.
