Comments:
Contest operation for me is not competitive, as I use the event as proving the
station and antenna and making contacts when more hams are on the air. My
score was almost three times better than last year, so I am improving each
time. I put in almost the full time and quit at mid-night. I was tired,
especially my eyes. As usual my time was S&P. I did not plan it, but the
uniformity of contacts on the different bands is interesting. Ten meters was
not good. I don't know if it was bad or lack of stations on the air.
Interestingly, my first three contacts were Montana. Looking at the the
multipliers, I was missing nine states and eight of the Canadians, total.
Again, I think that was lack of participation.
But I had fun.
