Comments:
First SS in many years so I am admittedly R-U-S-T-Y when it comes to setting up.
Suffice it to say several station issues needed to be corrected on the fly and
my laptop mouse pointer ended up the victim of stray RF 3-4 hours before the
contest ended... so reluctantly I had to quit early.
Still... had fun working several familiar Stateside calls and I plan to do much
better next time.
Special note to the ARRL contest committee: Great contest but you should think
about awarding double or triple points for the effort (and extra time) it takes
to work QRP stations at near noise level and through intense QRM. It would be
pretty easy to ignore these Q1-Q3 guys in favor of maintaining QSO rates and
working the next A or B station in line who might actually be Q5.
