Comments:
Decided to try HP with a recently acquired and repaired used amp with a soft
final. The extra dog biscuits helps to sustain runs on 80 and 40 but doesn't
make much difference on the high bands in this contest. Still disappointed
there was ZERO 160 activity. The limitation of working stations only once is
the culprit there. QRO also seems to attract more QRP stations calling. Worked
53 QRPs with many repeat requests. Bless them for their patience. Discovered
that using spotting services in U class to find rare sections is really more of
a distraction that can slow down or stop a good run. Am probably not efficient
with that yet. Activity really thinned out late Sunday afternoon and evening.
Was hard to find new stations to work. Too many cks in the 50s and 60s. When
all us old farts pass, what will contesting look like in 10 or 20 years?
