Congrats K4XU on an amazing QSO total. . . over 60 when I worked Dick on 80m.
Finally got a 1:1 Balun working on my 40/80m antenna, a 40m DE Zepp. Some
creative trimming of feedline did the trick. . so no more external tuner
adjustments
Ladder seems to be moving forward . hope we're all getting tuned up for the
upcoming NA Sprint in a little over a week.This will be my first NAS with the
newly purchased 'Signal Enhancement Accessory' for the FT-1000MkV. That was the
motivation for getting the antenna situation straightened out, as my tuner was
not quite FLP- capable.
Good to hear Bob, W0BH in the fray. . apparently fully recovered from his
wonderfully successful Kansas QSO Party.
