Comments:
Missed NT, SJV was the last section worked in the wee hours the 2nd day.
With A/K indices so low, hoped for better DX conditions. Worked Eu before the
contest while warming up and had high hopes but the hoped for Big Opening never
materialized, just random single or a few QSOs riding the QSB waves. Many
thanks to the many stations that hung in there for multiple repeats. A few made
a couple tries and gave up, especially the second night when it was noisier and
a contact probably could have been made.
I didn't get the huge rates at the beginning so many have reported but it was
very steady throughout. I started high the first day, that might have had
something to do with it. The 2nd radio was a bonus. Pretty serious intermod
but was able to copy thru/around it. I tuned the band at 1130z Sun am and
couldn't find anyone new nor were any of the their callers new so I packed it in
a couple hours early.
