Comments:
This session was mainly a checkout for my 20 meter dipole. I finally got a
chance to re-position the antenna to get it a little higher and well away from
the noise sources in the house. I was immediately rewarded with a 10 dB lower
noise floor, so a performance test was also in order. It appears things have
improved. I was actually able to get through to a lot more running stations, and
managed a modest run of 34 QSOs in the last 23 minutes of the session. We'll see
if this result was just a fluke or if can be repeated at next week's 1900Z
