Comments:
Got started late (9:20 PM EDST), but managed to get 2:26 hours of operation.
Started on 40 meters with the intent on getting the PVRC 50 into the log. Noise
was high, but not a lot of crashes. S meter was around S9 constantly. Heard
John (N3MN) and Pete (W4WWQ) on 40 meters calling S$P. I moved down the
frequency to 80 meters after about a hour and half, worked some more - all and
S&P. I was at 49 and hear Pete again, so I went up about 5 kHz and called
him. We exchanged the info and that made my 50. He told me about HI and AK on
20 meters. I worked one more on 80 meters, checked the noise on 160 meters, and
moved up to 20 meters and made 3 more contacts. That was 54, so I called it
quits.
