Comments:
It was great fun running JA, YB and other Asians on 10 and 15 meters. The rest
of the contest, not so fun. It may be hard for those of you east of here to
appreciate, but, except for an hour on 15 meters Saturday, there was no
propagation to most of Europe on any band. EA, I and F were good, but very
little to the high population areas of DL, G, and SP. A total of 19 G's and 9
Russians. 40 was very good to Asia, but, as everyone knows, it's a rough band.
80 and 160 were terrible on Friday night. Barely heard zone 33 on 80, and no
Europe, yet there was a good JA opening. Strange. Saturday night was better on
80 with a few Europeans worked.
Question: Why don't any of the Europeans run split any more, listening above
7200 ? They used to.
