Comments:
I was privilaged in being able to operate VY1JT remotely, but there were long
periods of blackout from an aurora. So on Sunday I operated as N3JT as well,
from my Virginia station. At times I wasn't sure where I was, switching back and
forth between the two stations! A few times I forgot to change headphones and
didn't at first understand why the band sounded so different! (One set of
headphones attaches to the computer for remote operation from VY1JT; the other
is local to the N3JT radio.) Certainly this was a fun contest for me, though my
N3JT score was not very high thanks to not operating until Sunday mid-morning.
I noticed more activity this time through Sunday afternoon and early evening.
