Hi Al,
1.Is the grid current reading with or without excitation to the amp
and how much?
2.Put the multi meter in the plate voltage position and see it drops
any at all when you key the amp.
3.Do you have a spare tube to try?
Need to get a few more facts before offering a suggestion.
