Put c. 50M ohms in series with one, connect it to a high-pot.   Connect 
the cathode of the diode stack to positive.  Go slow.  When you see a 
*couple* of uA of reverse current, read the v. and STOP the test.  This 
is the piv at room temperature.  At higher temperatures, the piv should 
be derated roughly30%.  However, for dx-peditions in hell, a 66.6% 
derating is reportedly advisable.
