I have an acquaintance who is a marine operator, during heavy weather
(which is common on our coastline) he tells me that the pitching and
rolling of the ship makes using the Inmarsat system impossible as the
antenna is swinging off-beam all the time and he has to resort to phone
or cw to pass the messages!!!
