I think the MRF-455 is good for about 65 Watts out with 5 Watts of drive.
That gives an output in the region of 250 Watts with 20 Watts of drive.
That's what my mobile amp does.
You don't work for Zetagi do you. They claim 600 Watts output from 4 x
MRF-455 and they have a 30 fuse in the 13.8 V dc input line. Now that's
efficient!
