I just described what I saw (and heard). There may be various versions of
a similar daf circuit. The performance of the daf would obviously be
different
with the different type tubes and circuit spinoffs.
That's the reason I offered to post Norms circuit on my server (next
week).
As Rich mentioned, Norm did try a few different circuits in his
amplifier.
When he stopped hosing my receiver, I just figured he got one of them
right.

I've seen various daf type circuits in a few glass bottle amps. It's
a very interesting circuit, the overall performance is what counts.
What goes out the door is what I have to hear or not hear...
