PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is e-mail encryption software. PGP signing is
used to authenticate messages. Decrypting the signature will indicate if a
message has been altered. PGP is used for encrypting an entire message with
public key cryptography, also. It is a very secure method of insuring
authenticity of messages and/or privacy.
