SELL: Compact, heavy duty, custom built 6 meter contesters' linear
amplifier using an Eimac ceramic 3CX800A7. The amplifier is dedicated to
6m use and will coast along effortlessly at 600W output (see digital for
under load operation) with 1800VDC, 600ma plate current, and 10ma of grid
drive;750 watts output with increased antenna and grid loading. For DX
chasing, a specifically designed tank circuit "Q" allows for 1mHz
frequency excursions without retuning. An easily accessible rear panel
control allows for a perfect T-match, zero SWR input adjustment in
addition to complete filament voltage adjustment control (w/VOM pinout)
critical for long tube life. The unit is housed in a Dentron MLA2500
chassis (small footprint and light weight) and utilizes only the Dentron
plate transformer, RF relative output circuit board, and the antenna
changeover relay. The front panel and all other circuits and components
are heavy duty and completely redesigned including a solid state 3
minute delay module. The amplifier is fully metered to monitor critical
tube functions (grid and plate current and HV/relative output). Wired for
220VAC only! Complete with the builder's original schematic and theory of
