Dick,
The only problem is that I wanted a tube that could be purchased "new"
and not have to depend on the surplus market. For a surplus tube, the 4-1000
has been showing up at the local hamfests like candy! I did think about the
4CX1500B but the new price kept me away. The russian tubes are a lot
cheaper!
