Hi Bob,
-
Thank you for your kind words... The power supply
is now working in a research project along with a
micro second pulser - switch and a vacuum relay
polarity reverse unit, also custom/hand made by
yours truly.
-
High voltage micro second pulses are applied to
a liquid sample held in a cuvette. More to follow at
a later time as I've been asked not to let too much
about that get out of the bag early (before publication).
-
One of the physical circuit features is a relative quick
conversion from doubler to bridge which will allow
the lower more practical Amplifier anode Potentials.
The 550mA tranny is the continuos (key down) value.
-
Many schemes to convert from bridge to full wave
are around. With everything well understood, a safe
well designed simple diode program jumper panel
allows quick change voltages. You can see the extra
jumper panel near the cab bottom behind the diode
board. The filter bank was rated up to the full doubler
value.
-
Things are working very well.
-
cheers

:Looks nice.
:My only question:
:500mA tranny.
:doubler
:200mA key down
:What the heck are you gonna run with
:a 7kV 200mA supply?
