Hi All,
I have the yen to improve the power at the station a little. So, I am
selling my Ameritron ALS-600 solid state amp. My xyl says it is in mint
condition physically and I know it is working ok electrically. It covers
160 through 15 meters with modification possible for 12 and 10. It puts out
600 watts pep on ssb and 400 cw. This amp has taken a little bit of a
beating on this reflector but honestly, the only real problem I've seen is
that it is sometimes sensitive in terms of the swr protection to antennas
requiring a tuner with oddball impedances but, if you are using it in a
situation where you have a tuned antenna system, it should work just great
with no tuning required.
I'm asking $795 picked up in the pacific northwest or you pay shipping. If
you are just getting into dxing or want easy band switching, this is for
