Hi Kenny,
Here's a possibility...
You can probably find a 5V 250A supply fairly easily. The output
section of those is typically configured with a full wave rectifier.
If you pull the stock rectifier and replace it with a synchronous
bridge rectifier (built with 4 big FET's for almost 0 voltage loss)
driven by the entire secondary and then crank up the regulation just a
bit you should have what you need.
