[Amps] Johnston 226 Roller?

I need a roller inductor for my amp. I was considering purchasing the Johnston 
226 Roller Inductor from Surplus sales. Any opinions on the reliabilty of these 
units? I can  only find new rollers from Johnston and Surplus sales which is 
really too large an inductance for my project.
