[Amps] MLA2500 Multimeter Type?

The multimeter in my MLA2500 is blown. I think I will replace it
with another and replace the power meter with a dedicated grid
current meter.  Anybody know what was in there originally?

1MA ?

By the way, my original confusing problem that led me to think
the power transformer was bad looks like it was caused by in the 
metering circuit and meter selector switches.
