There is an up side to going to the 572b.  It is a common 
practice in the 30L-1 without any problems that I know of.

Seeing how the 572b is a stronger tube it would last a lot longer
at higher drive levels.  Being more expensive is a consideration. 

I suppose it's a 50/50 call.  If you can find a set of 572b's at a
 good price I would go for it.
