The class e Amplifier project can be down loaded for free by going to the
ARRL QEX site. Then down load the sample article for Nov/Dec. Pictures in
color. This is my article and it makes 5 KW peak easily on 75M. So doesn't

Not being a QEX subscriber (maybe I should be) I'd like to hear more
about it. I considered a SS amp before beginning my current 8877
project but was stopped by two things:
1. A suitable power transformer for 50 VDC 50 A output.
2. The output filtering and matching network for all HF band operation.
Both of those are doable of course, just a bit easier with a tube amp.
I'd be most interested to hear how folks solved those issues.
