I was at a hamfest today and checking out the relay setup in some amps. The relays are no better in size that some 10amp relays I have. If I remember some one noted the DC voltage that could be used on a 120V ac coil relay. It this a feasible idea to use DC to reduce the chance of hum being induced and what DC voltage should I use?
