I constructed a RF deck with a Pi-L tankcircuit. Using a network analyser and
a small Rl resister on the tube, I've obtained a good match to a 1.8kohm Rl
value (better than 60dB returnloss). But now I'm wondering if the coil used has
a large enough wire diameter to handle the current hence my question on
estimating the Q of the coil. Most seem to suggest a low 10-12 Q to be used in
a tankcircuit.

Anyone out there that can help me?

Johan
