TL922's output power is 1kW, I think in this level the anode disspation will
no morethan
600W( 2x4-250), if it runs ICAS, will be too much.I think the big problem is
you have
mentioned the gain, Maybe have match problem.

As far as I am aware, all the 'T' series numbers from Mullard and Philips are
triodes. I can't find a data sheet for TB3.5/750: there is a TB3/750, which is
medium mu triode (mu =25).
Using 4-250 instead of 3-500Z means exceeding the plate dissipation for the
same maximum power output: the gain may well be different, though.
