This may be the right place to discuss this radio since it takes a very large 
signal for it to work. You will need an amplifier
to get the field strength needed.  Just read the paper. Also it requires a 
several hundred volt very stable adjustable power supply
to make it work.  Not included in the nano radio. The high voltage tunes it and 
provides the intense field needed at the tip of the
nanotube to detect the vibrations due to radio waves interacting with the 
nanotube. There are going to be applications but not as
a radio receiver. Perhaps it can be used as a tuneable filter or a set of 
nanotubes could be made to make a real time spectrum analyzer.
