I'd like to understand how one can make chimneys from silicone sheets, such as
the chimneys in the Alpha 76.
Is the following material suitable?

What sort of adhesive is used to make the sheet section into a suitable
cylinder or cone?
Are chimneys of this sort now considered bad news in favor of other approaches?
