I have a brand new and newly assembled SB-221 with 10 meters (have not
turned it on yet), but I think that I would want a lot more than 700 bucks
for it :- )

Good comment, but $800-$900 will often bring a pretty decent SB-220. Last
one I bought was only $700 and only needed a low voltage keying mod to bring
it pretty much "up to date." No 160m coverage, though. Bummer!

.... that beats converting a medical amp for ham use and now needs a new
tube .. granted im going to change it over to a GS-35b ... but like new for
