What might the rebuild cost for such tubes be? Presumable way below new
otherwise it would seem hardly worth the effort.

Can the 10000 series, 3CX, 4CX, also be rebuilt.

I just sold a pair in ebay ,USD300/pair.But these need to repair.I think it
worth
$200-300 if in good cndx. I had contact with the socket manufacturer in China
, they quote $900!

See what the core is worth to a rebuilder to set the minimum. Its a very common
tube over here and $200-300 is typical for a pull as there is a minimal market
for used ones except CB and hams.

Good sockets can easily be twice the tube as commercial stations also bust them
up on a regular basis and need one pronto without going into hock from
Richardson Bandits, Ltd.
