Hi, inspired by the Eimac "Tube Performance computer for RF Amplifiers" and
to get a flexible tool to get faster insight in RF power amplifier design I
have made a small (Windows) application: RF Tube Modeller.
Input are the constant current graphs as given by the manufacturer and some
design parameters (anode voltage, idling current,drive voltage, etc).
Application will compute/display all instantaneous currents and other
relevant parameters (power output, efficiency, RF load impedance) this by
interpolation of the curves and Fast Fourier Transform. At the moment
direct applicable to Tetrode/grounded cathode configurations.
The application is a beta version (a.o. not much error checking of input
values...) but might be of interest to this group. If you have any
suggestions for improvement or other feedback, please contact me off list
