Back in the 80's I came across an Eimac tube that I think was a 1500 something. As I recall it had a bayonet mount but instead of fins it had many circular or curled radiators/fins on what would have been a flat top. I want to say it was convection cooled and maybe 7-8" long and 4" across at the anode. Ring any bells?
